Permits
Does this replace my engineer.
No. Sealed drawings still come from the engineer. Here is what the app does with them.
The answer is no.
Sealed drawings still come from the engineer. Pool Span Pro does not replace that sheet and does not claim to.
What Pool Span Pro does
- Reads the engineer's sheet
- Keeps the member sizes from that sheet
- Counts the pieces and packs them to stock lengths
- Prints the layout sheets and the installer packet
High wind counties
In the High Velocity Hurricane Zone, which includes Miami Dade and Broward, the engineer handles the design and the product approvals. Pool Span Pro does not state span numbers or design pressures. Those come from the sealed sheet for the job.
